Day 42 — Class Serialization: Exporting Order Objects to Dictionaries

What We’re Building

By the end of today, you will have a serialization pipeline that converts Python Order objects into plain dictionaries (and back), safely, losslessly, and across time. That means an order you serialize today can be reconstructed six months from now, even after you’ve changed the Order class, without corrupting a single cent of P&L.

This is not a “nice to have.” Every risk replay system, every audit trail, every message queue payload, every Parquet file on disk — all of them depend on getting this right.
